I attended the recent State GOP Nominating Convention and was gratified to see the huge turnout of Tea Party people, the 9/12 Group, the Patrick Henry Caucus, the Oathkeepers, Utah Rising and other patriot groups. There was a general consensus among the great majority of the attendees that our country is in peril and that our elected officials aren’t ‘getting the job done,’ so to speak, in keeping our Federal Government within its proper sphere of influence. They let it get out of control.
The pent up anger vented by the delegates was so huge against all incumbents that Bob Bennett didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of being the party’s nominee to represent the Republican Party in the general election. I was glad to see the results and knew that a great wind of resistance to the NWO was brewing here and in other states. I was also gratified to see that the anger was not abusive nor divisive. There was great order at the Convention. But there was also great determination. The people of the United States, as was represented in this convention in the state of Utah, are rising up and their mood is ugly.
After all, Bennett was considered by all main stream media pundits as a relatively conservative Republican. So if Bob Bennett can’t keep his ‘conservative’ Senate seat in the most conservative state in the Union, what does that forebode for elections everywhere? The results are coming in from around the country that incumbents, whether Democrats or Republicans, are falling by the wayside right and left. That confirms the general mood of the nation.
But is Bennett and his colleagues in Congress at fault for our mess? He was on duty for 18 years, but did he and others let government overwhelm us? Is it our politicians fault? Is Obama himself at fault? I think we all know the answer to that question.
None of our elected officials inherited their positions. None of them conquered their positions through force of arms. We elected them. That means that we, ultimately, are responsible for the mess we are in.
It is obvious that we are on a collision course with socialism. But that begs the question: Did the majority of Americans and Utahns actually vote for communism/socialism? If we didn’t, then why are we headed in that direction? Most did not want to wind up in the position we find ourselves, but here we are. How did it happen? Obviously we were deceived, big time.
I believe that if the majority of Americans knew the hearts of those whom they were voting for, we would not have the dilemma we face today. But we can’t know the hearts of our fellow men, unless the Lord reveals that to us. Even the Prophet Joseph Smith was told by the Lord that it was not possible for even him to know the hearts of men all the time. He said:
But behold, here is wisdom, and because I show unto you wisdom, and give you commandments concerning these things, what you shall do, show it not unto the world until you have accomplished the work of translation.
Marvel not that I said unto you: Here is wisdom, show it not unto the world–for I said, show it not unto the world , that you may be preserved.
Behold, I do not say that you shall not show it unto the righteous;
But as you cannot always judge the righteous, or as you cannot always tell the wicked from the righteous, therefore I say unto you, hold your peace until I shall see fit to make all things known unto the world concerning the matter. D&C 10:34–37
So if such a great spirit as Joseph Smith can’t always tell the good guys from the bad, we may also be deceived by wolves in sheep’s clothing. This is no more obvious than in the recent election. After all, Obama ran for the presidency on the assumption that he was going to clean up the ‘mess’ created by his predecessor, Bush. The country was angry at the global wars, bailouts, PATRIOT Act, the proliferation of illegal immigrants and the general disregard shown by Bush for the inalienable rights of the people. We were ready for a ‘change you can believe in.’
Obama promised that change. He was hailed as the ‘Messiah’ and ‘Savior’ who would finally open up the presidency to transparency, get our financial house in order, take our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, defend our borders, and get rid of the inordinate influence of the multinational corporations. What we got instead was not only a continuation of the very policies he promised to change, but an acceleration of them. Not only that, it is now generally acknowledged that he never had any intention of keeping any of his campaign promises to the people, but every intention of keeping his promises to the special interests. How did we let that happen? How could we be so thoroughly deceived?
The answer is that the news media, the educational establishment, the politicians, the think tanks, the NGOs, the entertainment industry, far left organizations, the CFR and even the communists cooperated and coordinated efforts to deceive us. And believe me, they are very good at it. They have honed their ability to deceive to a great degree. The elect (i.e., the members of the Church) are not immune to this great deception.
So the question emerges: How do they deceive us? What tactics do they use to accomplish their goals of getting us to agree to a one world government? After all, not one person in a million would normally acquiesce to their own slavery. So how do they deceive us?
Their tactics are varied and they use a multitude of them. But they all have one thing in common. All tactics of deception appeal to the emotions of the victims the NWO wishes to deceive. They can’t use logic for there is no logic to back up slavery. They can’t use evidence either, for that also testifies against them. They have no alternative but to appeal to the altruistic part of man, to use the masses’ innate sense of fair play and compassion to get them to agree with measures and ideas that are really dressed up slavery; then use those measures against those same masses. So what are some of the tactics used by the NWO?
Here is a list I noticed over the years. This list is not all-inclusive but is a fair representation of how the enemies of freedom operate. My hope in disclosing their tactics is that we will learn to recognize them for what they really are; deceptions, pure and simple. If we can learn that, we can teach them to our friends across the country. The knowledge of these tactics will help us to stop supporting, through our ignorance, this great Secret Combination.
One of the most obvious tactics is the use of false choices. This is especially true in the presidential elections. Every presidential nominee from both political parties for many elections has been groomed and picked by rich and powerful people from behind the scenes, often years in advance. The potential nominee has to make certain promises to TPTB in order to secure the nomination. A president who was an actual constitutionalist could upset all their plans in one term of office. Not only are the presidential nominees of both major parties bought off, but the vice-presidential nominees must also sell their souls, so to speak, for it is entirely possible for a sitting president to have a true accident, or die from a medical problem while in office, which would make the vice-president the new commander-in-chief. TPTB take NO chances with the POTUS.
All presidents are controlled by the Rockefellers and friends through the Council on Foreign Relations. Thus it saddens me when good people who otherwise would never think of giving control of our country to the NWO, vote for one of the two major party candidates for president. The public through their ignorance allows the special interests to control our presidents. That happens in every presidential campaign.
Someone I knew who had been to my lectures many times, and who knew about how both nominees for President were controlled from behind the scenes, nevertheless was caught up in the hype and spin of the Obama campaign and voted for him anyway. She is now very sorry for not believing in me, but the damage is done.
The next tactic of deception they use is called Operation Vise. That is the best way to describe it because it involves pressure from above and below with the American public being squeezed in between. It works like this: The moneyed interests in America funds NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) such as the NEA, NOW, Greenpeace, the Wilderness Society, the NAACP, AARP, Al Gore and his global warming scam, and others. These NGOs push for federal legislation and control over our lives from below, while bought-off politicians clamor for the same legislation from above, and the public is caught in between these powerful and coordinated groups in a classic pincer movement. These actions are well planned to make the public think that they can’t resist federal intrusion in our lives because both the public and the politicians seem to want it. But this is a lie. The NGOs and the politicians are both bought off by the Rockefellers and colleagues.
Another tactic used to sell us into slavery is False Friendship. This is actually very subtle. Charlotte Iserbyt, who ran the Office of Research in the Department of Education during the Reagan Administration, was told how to con people into accepting various brainwashing programs the DOE was trying to implement across America. Some of the programs were sex ed, suicide ed, homosexual ed, Islamic studies and death ed. Normal people throughout the United States would never implement such trash for their kids to learn. But these and other progressive programs are slowly being implemented anyway. So how do they do it?
Iserbyt was told to break down resistance to these programs by identifying “resistors” and through false friendship take them under her wing, make them feel like you’re their friend, offer them a position on some kind of committee that oversees the implementation of these programs, and assure them that “scientific studies” prove that these programs are good for children. The second step is to go to prominent members of the community and gain their confidence, then go to the newspapers and promote these “wonderful” programs. That’s done to assure the average Jane Doe resister that, if the pillars of the community are in favor of these programs, then the programs must be OK. This tactic is used all over the country.
Iserbyt was also given a list of what were called “change agents” who were on the federal payroll and whose job it was to go to various communities throughout the country and, through false friendship, con the people into accepting these horrible programs.
However, this same scenario can be used for other NWO programs, not just education programs. The idea of conning the public through false friendships can be adapted for any kind of federal assistance (read: control) that TPTB want to implement on us.
Yet another tactic is called Poisoning the Well. This tactic is used in debating circles, courts of law and other places where points of view are disputed. It is used by the enemies of freedom to destroy the argument of an opponent without actually addressing their argument directly. As I said before, there is no logic or factual evidence to support the idea of slavery, so the proponents of the NWO must destroy the evidence that comes up against their machinations, not by counter evidence, for there is none; but by destroying the character of the person who brings evidence before the public. They are able to thus destroy the argument by destroying the opponent through personal attacks.
This happened very well in the 1964 presidential campaign when the news media attacked Goldwater’s character by accusing him of being a “warmonger,” an “anti-semite,” and of causing mankind to come to the brink of nuclear war with the Soviet Union by suggesting that America might win the war in Vietnam. They destroyed his chances of winning the presidency through this method. That allowed Johnson to win. They did the same thing with Joe McCarthy when all the while he told the public the truth about Soviet spies in America. They did the same thing to Joseph Smith, to Jesus Christ and to all that dare to tell the truth.
The last tactic I’ll illustrate is public graft. It happens on a massive scale to most people in the United States. In order to get us to accept greater governmental control over our lives, TPTB just try to buy us off with many kinds of public subsidies. These can take the form of food stamps, aid to mothers with dependent children, housing subsidies, tax breaks for businesses, farm subsidies, student grants, Medicare and Medicaid, and a host of other unconstitutional bribes. Admittedly, they are hard to resist but in the end they are nothing more than meat with a hook in it. They are welfare traps that are designed to destroy the moral fiber of society and make us pliant, trusting slaves.
There are a host of other tactics that I will forbear to outline. But some of their names are: False Flag Terrorism, Assassination, Jump on the Bandwagon, Infiltration and Takeover of the Opposition, The Big Lie, the use of Cliches, and others. I have a lecture that goes into detail about all these methods and tactics the enemies of freedom use to deceive us.
It is my fervent prayer that we will be able to detect these traps and thus understand our enemy better. That will make us more effective fighters for freedom.

Great post Ken. You mentioned “The Big Lie,” but didn’t go into detail. I understand, but I’ll mention the following scripture, just in case someone isn’t aware:
” . . . there began to be lyings sent forth among the people ( 3 Nephi 1:22)
Thanks.
Good article, but please spell out your acronyms the first time you use them in the article. Some of them I am unfamiliar with. Thanks.
NWO=New World Order
NGO=non-governmental organization
CFR=Council on Foreign Relations
POTUS=President of the United States
TPTB=The Powers That Be
DOE=Department of Education
Sorry for the mix-up. NHNF (No harm no foul).
Ken
Very interesting article and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to make a two additional points.
Point One: In addition to, “The answer is that the news media, the educational establishment, the politicians, the think tanks, the NGOs, the entertainment industry, far left organizations, the CFR and even the communists cooperated and coordinated efforts to deceive us,” I do not believe we recognize how much we allow these organizations to thrive. Do we recognize how much we allow ourselves to be deceived or how frequently we deceive ourselves? For example, the housing crash. We all want to cast blame on the mortgage industry, government, “combinations”, but how many people buying or selling homes stopped to think, “Wait a minute…home prices don’t double within a years time…what is going on here?” or “Why are these arm loans being pushed? Why are “they” encouraging everyone to buy homes?”. Most people were thinking, “Cool! I can buy a home well over my normal budget because I only have to pay interest and I can turn around and sell it for double in a year or two,” or “Cool! I’m going to sell my home for double what I bought it for a year ago and make a killing.” Many people chose not to research those bad loans, chose not to consider the consequences of entering into them, chose to sell their homes for well over it’s original value over a short time without considering they might be taking advantage of a buyer. (This is just one example)
Galations 6:7 states, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
The combinations have, without a doubt contributed greatly to the problems, however, if we, as a majority of people, were keeping the commandments of God we would be “reaping” much more pleasant consequences. If we were living as we should, listening to the prophets, keeping the commandments, we could not be deceived. As it stands, I believe these problems will continue to grow until we are sufficiently humbled, recognize those who wish to deceive us for what they are (including ourselves), and begin taking responsibility for these problems which we, whether consciously or unconsciously, have helped to create. We face extreme difficulties. It will take significant sacrifice from all of us to to get us back on track.
Second point: Socialism is growing out of control because when there are problems, we frequently turn to the gov to solve them. For example, the 1% tax hike that was just voter approved in AZ. There was (and still is) a budget shortfall and schools are in danger, so what did the people of AZ choose to do? Hand over more money to the government so they can solve the problem. Again, one small example. For generations we, and our predecessors, have turned to the government to solve problems and, of course, they’ve done their best, and have regularly gone overboard (intentionally in some cases) to do as we’ve requested. The more we turn to the gov to solve our problems, the more power we place in their hands and when individuals are put in places of power they abuse that power. If we want things to change we must not only put people of integrity into office, we must also stop blaming them, turning to them to solve all problems, and start taking responsibility for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbors, etc. to the best of our abilities.
In summary, yes…there are evil people with evil agendas but if ” all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold…the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men,” Alma 48:17
I’m not so convinced of this “the government is us” concept. I certainly didn’t vote for any of those people, and even had I done so in an earlier, less informed time I was still only choosing from among the options given to me by the people with guns. This does not imply consent to the options or the process, but merely that I am choosing from the best of the limited options I am permitted to have. It would be kind of like saying that if you emptied the cash register for an armed robber that you were guilty of the theft because you chose from among two very bad options. Yes, now I am at a point in my understanding where I do not “choose the lesser of two evils” and only vote for candidates that are worthy, however my acts in do so previously can not reasonably be construed to imply guilt or consent to the system.
Anyway, that was just some thoughts I’ve had about this concept, which I encounter frequently, but great article Ken.
