In all serious though, I can see the sincerity in what you are posting, but have you read anything about the history of the pledge, it&#039;s founder or his intentions?

		<description>While I agree that liberty and justice belong to only those who fight for it, I&#039;m not sure how this applies to 9/11. The pledge is one of allegiance to the state, a state whose foreign policies are indirectly responsible for what occurred on 9/11. Had we stuck to Washington&#039;s counsel of free trade and non-interventionism, there wouldn&#039;t have been a 9/11. Unless America&#039;s foreign policy changes, we can expect more 9/11s in the future, I&#039;m certain.</description>
